The problem with base building. This is my nitpick on more QoL content, whenever I go to a Space station or planetary outpost or some other random structure, I always see props that make me think "man those would be awesome if I could build them". The lack of actual props, for upping base aesthetics is sorely lacking imo,those potted plants
This will trigger the quest "Base computer archives". Basically, you build a base computer, it will give you a bit of lore and a blueprint, then it enters a cooldown. After a few hours, the cooldown expires and it will give you another blueprint and more lore, enter cooldown again. The tenth blueprint is the landing pad.

Add a Comment. cbsson • 4 yr. ago. I found that the new landing pads will connect to corridors and cuboid rooms if you are far enough away from the point where you want the pad to attach. The distance that worked for me was 130u, a substantial distance. I have to fiddle with the positioning a bit before the pad turns green and can be attached.

K204dnt. Landing pads have their own set of specific dynamics. They can be placed at a Snap Point or independent of one. They can be rotated while snapped to orient the ship recall panel in which ever position is desired. The landing pad can only snap to 4 other objects (and vise versa): Glass Roofed Corridor, Straight Corridor, Cylindrical Room, and Door.
